Nesco Resource is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Finished Carpenter to join a cutting-edge Design and Fabrication Company in Madison Heights. If you're passionate about working with your hands and contributing to the creation of custom signage and decor, this is the job for you. Time: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Pay Rate: $17-$18hr (Based on Experience) Job Responsibilities Perform fine carpentry and woodworking to create custom pieces such as cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to ensure accuracy in measurements and construction. Use power and hand tools such as drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns. (Required) Assemble and install custom woodwork in various settings, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship. Work with other team members to ensure smooth workflow, meeting deadlines and project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment. Adapt to client requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Qualifications Proven experience as a finished carpenter or in a similar carpentry role. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns. (Required) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of woodworking materials, techniques, and finishes. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods. Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and precision. Safety-conscious, with a commitment to following safety protocols.
