Job Description: Key Responsibilities:- Monitor all pool areas and other water facilities on board to ensure safety protocols are being followed onboard the cruise ship- Provide first aid and emergency care in the event of an accident or injury- Enforce all pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals- Conduct regular safety inspections of the pool and surrounding areas- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the pool and pool deck- Communicate effectively with other crew members and passengers to provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere- Participate in safety drills and trainings as required by the company- Attend to any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or managementQualifications:- Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization- Minimum of 1 year experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a pool or aquatic environment- Strong swimming and rescue skills- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug testWorking Place: Miami, FL, United States
