This role combines hands-on technical support with systems administration and vendor management. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and a service-oriented mindset. Position will report to the Chief Operating Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Security ManagementMaintain robust network infrastructure using Fortinet equipmentManage security stack including Crowdstrike (EDR) and Cloudflare (Zero Trust)Oversee backup internet connectivity and failover systemsImplement and maintain encryption standards across all devicesManage VLANs and network segmentation for corporate, security, and guest accessSystems AdministrationAdminister Google Workspace environmentManage MDM solution (Filewave) for software deployment and remote supportOversee asset management and inventory tracking through Fresh ServiceMaintain password management system and access control policiesSupport integration with HR systems (Rippling) for automated provisioningVendor ManagementManage relationships with key technology vendors:ConvergeOne (Security stack)Lakeshore IT (Hardwaresoftware reseller)Internet service providersSoftware vendorsNegotiate contracts and maintain service levelsCoordinate with managed service providersTeam Leadership & SupportLead technical support for office and remote employeeManage device provisioning and configurationSupport office technology including AV equipmentCoordinate with DevOps on security and infrastructure initiativesPartner with HR on onboardingoffboarding processesCreate and maintain IT policies and proceduresManage IT budget and resource planningRequired Qualifications5+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experienceDeep expertise in:Network infrastructure (Fortinet preferred)Security systems (EDR, Zero Trust)MDM and device managementGoogle Workspace administrationStrong vendor management experienceExperience managing office relocationsBackground in high growth business preferredTechnical SkillsNetwork Infrastructure: Fortinet, VLANs, HA configurationsSecurity: Crowdstrike, Cloudflare, encryption standardsSystems: Google Workspace, MDM solutions, SSO implementationHardware: Mac and Windows device managementITIL practices and service desk managementExperience with GAM as a plusCertifications a plus: Network+ or Security+ITIL Foundation certification beneficial but not requiredSuccess Metrics (First 90 Days)Complete assessment of current infrastructure and security postureDevelop and begin implementing infrastructure improvement planEstablish vendor management framework and review all contractsReduce time for employee onboarding by 50%Reduce desktop ticket resolution time by 50%Additional RequirementsMust work on-site in NYCAuthorization to work in the US requiredAvailable for occasional eveningweekend maintenance windowsBenefits At MasterworksDaily catered lunchesFree admission to art museums and galleriesHealth, dental, and vision coverage with FSA optionsPTO and 401kDiscounted Equinox membershipHappy hours, company outings, social clubs, and more!How does Masterworks think about compensation?The compensation range for the role is $110,000-150,000 (inclusive only of base salary, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as on-target commission, bonus payments, and equity). Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data.
