The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process and reports directly to the Manager, Billing & Collections. Responsibilities include performing credit checks, processing credit applications, creating invoices and credit memos, maintaining customer account information, aiding in collections work as well as any ad hoc projects that are necessary.ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate processing of invoices and credit memos with support.Conduct credit checks and process credit applications for new and existing customers.Maintain the Customer ledger in Oracle Fusion, including adding new customers according to MLB policies.Managing sending all invoicescredit memos to customers in a timely manner.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.Monitor invoice requests and inquiries from Business Owners in MLB ticketing systemPrepare and present monthly reports on accounts receivable status and aging.Collaborate with other departments within MLB to resolve billing andor credit application inquiries.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or financeMinimum 3-5 years relevant experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or similar role.Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word)Oracle Fusion experience preferred, but not requiredStrong communication and analytical skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPay Range: $72,500 - $80,000As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
