Job Summary This position is part of the Metro District's management team and provides executive oversight, strategic direction, and management of all functions of the MnDOT Metro District Program Delivery Office. The position directs the development and delivery of transportation construction projects in eight counties of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, ensuring consistency and alignment with strategic plans. The position establishes and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with legislators, state, county, Met Council, Federal Highway Administration, and local officials. This position is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Program Delivery Office, including transportation project delivery, design, construction, surveys, materials, and area management to assure continuous improvement in scoping, cost, quality and timely delivery of project development products and services. This position is also accountable for human, fiscal and all other resources needed to carry out these responsibilities. This position is located at Metro District headquarters in Roseville, Minnesota. The incumbent will be required to report onsite at least twice per week but may be required to work onsite more depending on business needs. If working a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Current registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geo-science and Interior Design (AELSLAGID) and three years of engineering management experience.
