Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work Shifts4:00 P.M - 12:00 A.MJob DescriptionPurpose: Under the supervision of the Coordinating ManagerSupervisor, ensure that the staff is performing the job responsibilities accurately.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:The Clerical Associate IIITelephone operator is charged with and responsible for:•Operating CISCO Finesse 9751 console.•Direct incoming. Outgoing and in-house calls to the appropriate destinations.•Ensure notification to all hospital staff in the event of the following situations:o Fire Alarmso Disaster Control (InternalExternal)o Individuals in Medical Distresso All codes•Ensure information in directory is accurate (any incorrect or missing information is to be reported to the supervisor for correction).•Program and distribute Multi-tone in-house and Long-range pagers to house staff.•Replace non-working pagers, give out loaner pagers and distribute batteries when needed.•Prepare monthly on-call house staff schedules, making sure all information is received and passed along to all of the staff.•Ensure the contact of key personnel for each hospital service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for routine business as well as emergencies.•Assist with training new hires.•Overhead paging and announcements.•Departmental clerical functions.•Supervisory duties when required.•Special projects as deemed necessary.Minimum Qualifications1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and2.
