We are seeking a Mid to Senior Project Manager who will add their skills and creativity to our diverse projects. ABOUT THE ROLE: The role will be responsible for project schedules, project staffing needs, financial performance, conformance to contractual agreements, documentation, client interaction, consultant oversight, coordination, overall project administration, and leading the production team. Integral in guiding the internal team and external consultants working toward the common goal. Mentor and direct the work of the project teams. Support focused marketing and business development initiatives. Oversee contract implementation, project budgeting, scheduling, and planning. Assist in staff performance evaluations and recruitment of professional staff. Develop design fees and manage consultant teams. Provide regular status updates to the Studio Director and Principal-in-Charge. Conduct programming efforts, including information gathering sitebuilding analysis and sitebuilding inventory of existing conditions, identifying opportunities and constraints. Forecast and adjust staffing needs to meet the scope of projects. Ensure documentation and timely distribution of all meeting notes to the project teams. Incorporate and consider sustainable design solutions into all projects. Coordinate the QAQC and design review at each phase of the project. Oversee the construction administration phase, responding to RFIs, ASIs, shop drawings, field site reviews, and reports. Lead project teams in all stages of the project, from planning and concept design to construction documents and site visits. Some responsibilities vary based on experience, interests, and business needs. Other tasks as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Possesses creative talent in the communication of complex conceptual design concepts. Fosters mutual trust and confidence by developing the client relationship. Ability to interpret design concepts for implementation. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage teams to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Proficient knowledge of the following: Site and building regulations and safetyADAFHAzoning code. Design principles, techniques, trends, construction methodology, and material application, manufacturer appropriateness. Ability to use multiple tools for a variety of projects. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Scheduling software (Team Gantt) preferredUtilize Sketchup, Revit; bonus for AutoCAD, and 3D rendering software (Lumion) Bachelor or masters level degree in architecture or comparable work experience. Preferred 10-plus years in a related field. Preferred 5-plus years of project management experience. Licensed Architect or working toward licensure. Satisfactory completion of background screening.
