Make a difference every day! Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional candidate as a Portfolio Manager (PM) in the Fixed Income team of ETFs & Indexed Strategies at Invesco. As PM, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of fixed income ETFs and indexed strategies at Invesco. The candidate will interact closely with the team to enhance our in-house quant solutions utilizing programming skills in Python and a solid understanding of ETFs, portfolio modelling, currency hedging, financial markets, benchmarks (index), trading and index-based management. The candidate will be part of a global PM team, and the role will be based in Downers Grove, IL.Key Responsibilities Duties: Daily portfolio management of Fixed Income index-based ETFs and indexed strategies with the aim of creating an optimal portfolio that effectively tracks the underlying benchmark.Work with the quant team to support, improve and enhance our in-house quant solutions. The PM will also be responsible for daily risk management including good-to-trade reconciliation process, corporate action management, new issues participation, cash management, index reconciliation, performance and trade cost analysis. The PM will work with the global ETF PMs to ensure that all portfolios are within allowable risk tolerance limits, compliance rules and regulatory guidelines. Gain a thorough understanding of the global ETF infrastructure and process flow with the aim of continuously improve the investment process and promote scalability.Build a thorough understanding of the fixed income benchmarks and work with the providers to ensure that the data are clean and good to municate with APsmarket makers to facilitate the negotiation of in-kind ETF flows. Help broaden our broker network to source liquidity for bonds.Work ExperienceWorking knowledge of municipal markets and an understanding of municipal bond portfolio managementtrading. Familiarity with various municipal trading systems and applications.Prior experience managing any passive assets or ETFs would be helpful.Programming skills in Python, SQL and VBA a plus.Knowledge of the global fixed income markets, prior portfolio management or trading experience and the ability to provide market color are preferred skillsHigh proficiency in any of the following PM systems is considered a plus: Aladdin, Bloomberg, Charles River.Qualifications: CFA andor MBA (or progress towards CFA designation) is preferred but not required.Degree in finance or quantitative finance would be a plusSkillPersonal Attributes Required: Candidate will require strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret various market data.Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate ideas to the broader team.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work efficiently and effectively to excel in a fast-paced environment.Desire to work closely in team environment with fellow portfolio managers and global teams.Full Time Part TimeFull timeWorker TypeEmployeeJob Exempt (Yes No)YesWorkplace ModelAt Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
