Salary: $18.50 - $19.75 HourlyLocation : Round Rock, TXJob Type: SeasonalJob Number: 201801833Department: Sports Management & TourismOpening Date: 02062025Closing Date: 3312025 11:59 PM Central DescriptionUnder general supervision the Food & Beverage Shift Manager oversees an assigned shift at the Round Rock Sports Center, Round Rock Multipurpose Complex and other locations as assigned. This includes food preparation, customer service, cash handling procedures and oversight and guidance of additional staff assigned to the shift. Work includes evening and weekend hours.This is a seasonal position. Examples of Duties Supervise opening andor closing of assigned location.Provide direct oversight and guidance to additional staff assigned to the shift.Provide customer service in a fast, friendly, and professional manner.Sell food and beverage items including soft drinks and food items.Operate a cash register, receive payments and accurately make change; maintain an accurate cash drawer.Prepare food in accordance with Health Department regulations including reading recipes andor production directions.Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools to weigh, measure, wash, cut, and stir products.Assist Food & Beverage Coordinator in maintaining, tracking and projecting proper inventory levels.Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.Serve and replenish food from counters, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.Maintain a record of inventory and food waste.Clean, sanitize, remove trash, and restock work areas before completing shift. Experience and Training Must be at least 16 years of age.Six (6) months of cash handling or food industry experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service. Certificates and Licenses Required Must obtain Texas Food Handler permit within 30 days of employment.None01 Are you at least 16 years of age?
