Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob SummaryThe Sr. Quality Inspection Technician performs basic audit, inspection, test, and measurement duties on standard products and processes to ensure conformance to requirements.Essential FunctionsPerforms basic visual and mechanical inspection of product and components per documented procedures; specification; drawings; or generally accepted good manufacturing practices, using measuring equipment (i.e., caliper, micrometer, ruler, measuring scope, and laser micrometer, Vision System)Responsible for controlling, monitoring, and quarantining of non-conformant products and materialsUnderstands the requirements of the Quality System such as: best documentation practices, quality standards, and basic ISO requirementsAcquires or provides training as neededResponsible for receiving inspections and in-process inspectionsSupport company finance, accounting, human resources, quality, regulatory, and clinical departments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements RequirementsEducation, Experience, Required Skills5-7 years of quality experience preferred with basic blueprint reading and basic understanding of GD&T principalsReliable, motivated self-starter with an aptitude for developmentWorking knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments, quality control terminology and competency in the use of ISO 13485 StandardProficient in Microsoft Office Word & ExcelAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsFlexible and able to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely mannerAbility to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stressPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop numerous times throughout the day.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.Must have manual dexterity.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.Must wear gown, gloves, and ear protection if applicable.Summary of BenefitsGroup health & welfare benefits: Options for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, Health Savings Account (requires participation in eligible medical plan), and Flexible Spending pany-paid benefits: Employee Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Long Term Disability (LTD), Kavira (requires participation in medical plan).Voluntary, employee-paid benefits: Employee Supplemental Life & AD&D, Spouse and Dependent Life & AD&D, Short Term Disability (STD), Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity, Employee Assistance Program.Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) & Floating HolidaysPaid Parental LeavePaid Holidays Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and pensationThe typical base pay range for this role is between $30.00-38.00hour.
