Description Position purposeThe Zoom Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, or faculty providing exceptional customer service both in person and virtually. This role manages front desk operations, including greeting guests, answering inquiries, handling phone and email communications, scheduling appointments, and directing individuals to appropriate resources. The Zoom Front Desk Assistant ensures a welcoming and efficient environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Additionally, they support administrative tasks and leverage virtual platforms to assist remote visitorsMajor ResponsibilitiesDutiesFunctionsTasksZFD assistants will have a number of different responsibilities, which may include: This position requires in-person hours. Staff may be required to perform duties from the Academic Success Center at the discretion of the director or academic advisers and success coaches. Staffing the College's Zoom Front Desk; this may include being available on Zoom to answer questions, keeping apprised of common questions and answers, and relaying guests questions and concerns to the director, academic advisers or success coaches. Performing administrative tasks, including answering emails, organizing documents (physical andor virtual), making phone calls, and performing data entry. Performing research and data gathering projects as directed. Maintaining general organization of facilities, including office spaces. Documenting interactions with students as directed by the director.
