VAVAMDCTMARINHVTME) is a field sales position responsible for driving business, Nutrafol brand loyalty, and Nutrafol brand recognition in a defined geographic territory through new salon business development and existing salon business growth strategies. While Nutrafol is a distributed, remote-first company, the successful candidate for this role must reside within one of the following states (NJNYPAOHW. VAVAMDCTMARINHVTME) in the Northeastand be located near a major airport, as this role requires frequent travel across the territory. This role works in conjunction with the Salon Director and inside sales team to grow territory and salon sales through product education, sell-in and sell thru strategies, business consultation, merchandising, promotions and strong relationship management.You'll report into the Salon Director for your specific geographic territory and have predetermined targets for both new business development and growth of existing accounts.Responsibilities:Create a powerful, trusting relationship with salon owners, stylists and employeesRotation management inclusive of both existing and new business developmentMaintain strong funnel of potential new businessWork closely with Salon Director to determine and support sell-in and sell-through strategies at a salon-by-salon levelDeliver highest quality in-salon presentations and product classesLaunch new salons and retail accountsMeet new business goalsSell in new products to existing salonsAchieve individual revenue goals by educating and consulting with the salon owners, managers, and stylistsSupport retail segment sales through merchandising and promotional activity.Manage a systematic meeting schedule for assigned accounts.Execute strategic education plans for each salon in territory of focus accounts.Promote, plan, coordinate and assist in execution of regional and national company-sponsored, business development and educational eventsAttend all company provided meetings and trainingsOvernight travel up to 50%Requirements:Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales and retail experience.Candidates with Salon Professional outside sales and Salon industry experience required Strong communication and presentation skillsHigh sales driveAbility to prospect and close new businessStrong negotiation skillsStrategic and analytical thinkingService orientedAdaptable to working with and educating various personality typesCompetitive and collaborativeComputer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and general ability to learn new programs such as Slack and Salesforce75% travel required andor 4 days per week in the field (will vary slightly based on territory size structure)Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
