SLP - Preschool - Bronx

A nonprofit organization in New York City is looking boost their staff at one of their preschools in the Bronx with the addition of a new, licensed Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, the Preschool Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for heling students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities Responsibilities: The Preschool Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Providing the best possible quality care to all students Evaluating and treating students with disabilities Maintaining daily progress and attendance records Writing progress reports Attending IEP meetings Recommending adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations or assistive technology Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 6+ months of Speech Language Pathology experience (New graduates will be considered!) Bachelor's Degree NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license NYS issued TSSLD Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: BiMultilingual Experience working with the Pediatric population
