Position Summary:The Project Information Manager (PIM) Reporting Lead will be responsible for reporting functions within the Information Management System (IMS), which will be a shared environment for Westinghouse, Bechtel to administer, and the Owner to utilize, control and organize project information required to execute the project through all phases of design, construction, start up, commissioning, and turnover, consistent with project contractual and Employer Information Requirements. The IMS will also include the necessary hardware, software, and support services required for implementation throughout the life of the project. Data integration to the Project IMS, from the stakeholder authoring tools, will be implemented for the benefit of the overall project execution and handover for operations. While both Bechtel and Westinghouse may use their own internal tools for project development; the Execution phase of the project will require a fully integrated suite of tools and associated configuration that can merge data across organizational boundaries, and with internal and external stakeholders. Westinghouse and Bechtel will share responsibility for ensuring the virtual design, the Building Information Management (BIM) approach for the project, while also ensuring the modeldatatool integration meet the standards expected of modern-day project delivery.Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland's nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come. #LI-TN1Major Responsibilities: Lead and integrate fully with Project functional leads and SMEs to understand, identify, analyze, design and deploy information reports to enhance project operational efficiencies. The reports will play a critical role in enabling project leadership make timely, accurate and reliable decisions to enhance project execution efficiencies and serve as an early warning to mitigate risks. Critically, lead in the establishment of processes and techniques to ensure the quality and integrity of the information presented, in a timely manner. Regularly analyze information reports to detect and remedy inconsistencies. Lead, architect and maintain accountability for a security structure that ensures only authorized andor approved staffentities are granted access to the appropriate reporting systemsinformation. Lead the development a structured dashboard control and navigation approach to unify all project reporting needs and allow project stakeholders to easily find and use dashboards to support their work. Lead the interpretation and communication of results from the data analyticsreports to the Project Information Manager, Project leadership andor SMEs. Lead and maintain close engagement with the IS&T manager to ensure the deployment, reliability and availability of the reporting automation tools. Provide input into the CDE design requirements and selection process including the level of detail and data attributes necessary to support the required reporting outputs. Coordinate with Project Controls and Construction on the development of advanced work packages and ensure the fidelity of reporting detail to support each of the project phases. Ensures adequate training is provided on the use of the Project Information Model and reporting tools. Assist staff with the analysis and interpretation of trends evident from the information reports. Champions innovation across the project by establishing a culture for ideas and improvement opportunities to be raised, considered, and implemented. Continually seeks ways in which the Project Information Model reporting can be utilized to support the project and drive efficiency in processes.Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least 10 years of professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 14 years of professional experience.Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience with designing, deploying and supporting business analytics and reporting environments to support (project) business objectives. Experience working within the EPC functions, or a strong project-led understanding of cross-functional EPC work processes and the reporting applications used for project execution. Experience with engaging with leadership and SMEs to interpret and identify trends that will minimize risk andor enhance project productivity on a timely basis. Significant Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Procurement, Automation, or Information Systems experience with a passion for implementing new and innovative reporting processes. Strong hands-on knowledge of query and reporting tools such as MS PowerBI, Power Pivot, Tableschart generation, and the ability to extract information from databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL). Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expression) is valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain and interpret reporting processes and results to all levels of the organization. Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority. Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities with demonstrated experience providing direction as appropriate. Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass nuclear security screening requirements and be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear power facility. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check including verification of employment, education, and travel. 3 years' experience leading and engaging with the business to conduct analytics, quantify, design and deploy reports and assist with interpreting results. 3+ years of experience with extracting 'data' from business and technical systems and presenting 'information' suitable for timely decision making. Advanced proficiency in MS PowerBI, MS Excel, Power Pivot, and MS Word, Knowledge of DAX and MS PowerApps preferred. Demonstrable ability with executing queries on databases and businesstechnical systems to harness data to generate information reports. Ability to detectidentify data inconsistencies that could impact results and trends. Proficiency in SQL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience and demonstrated capability to present information and analysis to senior management. Must be able to work and adapt to changing work schedules. Working knowledge of Project Control processes and tools. Knowledge in Primavera P6 andor Ecosys preferred. Working knowledge of Engineering authoringmodeling and Construction tools. An understanding of Prime Contract formation and execution. Supervisory experience and ability to influence without authority. Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes to support project goals. Customer focused problem solver. Comfortable working across multiple teams. Ability and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
