Join us.Position OverviewWe are looking for team members to be a part of State Streets Digital Center of Excellence (COE) to drive innovative solutions for providing digital asset accounting. Members of the Digital COE will work with internal business, risk management, product and technology teams while being a liaison with State Street clients and third party vendors. Starting with the documentation of business needs by working directly with global delivery teams, creating workable concepts and following all the way through the development of innovative operational solutions, the Digital COE will be an integral part of State Street's next generation of digital asset technologies and transformative initiatives. The first set of responsibilities will be focused on fund accounting of cryptocurrencies specifically in the alternatives and ETF space. The right candidate has a deep appreciation of the intersection where traditional financial services meet cryptocurrencies and other digital assets with the goal of identifying and validating value propositions for evolving accounting products. This role will require in-depth knowledge of financial accounting platforms, third party digital asset data solutions and what is required by State Street operational teams to provide accounting services to clients interacting with digital assets.Hybrid operational and product management responsibilities include:OperationalFunction as point persons for vendor queries and issuesTrain and scale teams as new clients are onboardedFunction as application super users with ability to configure vendor sourced features and productsHelp teams where applicable during high volume loadsConduct reporting, quarterly metrics and other analysis on our clients' holdings & volumes for risk management and performance monitoringProduct ManagementAct as a dedicated resource for POCs for new subproduct types, vendor products, internal enhancements & product crossover integrationEngage with State Streets business teams and clientsprospects to assess servicing complexity while evaluating interest in new technologies to propose solutions based on these interactionsWork with business and product to assess service solutions focusing on fund administration of crypto currencies including identifying and validating value propositions from third party vendors and helping define business cases for complimentary productsRaising business functional requirements and working with technology teams to outline development work including assisting with roadmaps where clear achievable milestones and realistic success criteria can be definedQualifications and experienceRequiredSignificant experience 5+ years in client workflow and backmiddle office products, fund accounting and administration using accounting platforms- experience with Geneva a plus.Prior experience 3+ years with digital asset market data providers, DAR, Coinmetrics and Lukka a plusDeep understanding of trade flow processes in alternative markets and crypto currency marketsExperience in helping build innovative products from ideation through design and development using and agile frameworkExperience in business development and client engagement with a track record of results and executionDemonstrated ability to showcase structured thinking and problem solvingExcellent presentation, communications, and influencing skillsProven ability to build relationships with internal partners and stakeholdersEntrepreneurial attitude, with experience in fintech or fast-paced corporate environments a plusAbout State StreetWhat we do.
