DescriptionConcraft is seeking a skilled Carpenter for full-time, year-round employment in Auburn Hills, MI.Benefits for Full-Time Employees:Paid Time OffHolidays pay after 90 days of employmentCell phone allowance providedAccess to company vehicles for job site transportationOpportunity for profit sharing3% contribution to 401(k) after meeting company goalsHealth, dental, and life insurance options after 60 daysAdditional life insurance available for purchaseAFLAC benefitsSam's Club membershipExperience a work environment defined by empathy, communication, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.Responsibilities•Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers•Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it•Repair small drywall patches•Maintain a neat and tidy work area•Document your work daily in our software app on your phone•Communication professionally with the Project Managers•Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty•Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach•Build scaffolding when needed•Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces•Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paintQualifications•Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position•Experience with painting tools and techniques is required•Experience with a paint sprayer•Clean driving record•Must pass a drug screening•Climb ladders•Work on scaffolding•Valid driver's license required•Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training•Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail•We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED•We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
