Job DetailsJob Location217 WYCKOFF AVENUE - BROOKLYN, NYPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelGraduate DegreeSalary Range$87,500.00 - $90,000.00 SalaryDescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Clinical Director will oversee the coordination of clinical services at the 326 Rockaway Supportive Housing Program with a focus on both behavioral and physical health. The Clinical Director provides guidance and supervision to a team of case management and clinician staff, as well as creating systems that enhance services. The Clinical Director will:Supervise the coordination of services and clinical and case management staff ensuring daily activities are held according to program protocols and is line with RiseBoro's missionReceive referrals for tenant placement, review all documentation, schedule, and conduct interviews for incoming tenantsHire qualified team members and ensure staff have the resources they need to succeedSupport, observe, and guide staff in working effectively with tenants and implementing evidence-based practice modelsConduct weekly supervision, including case conferences, with staff to ensure appropriate delivery of services, tenant, and programmatic success, assess staff performance, and provide support for job developmentOversee the completion of tenant needs assessments and support staff in developing ongoing, individualized, tenant-centered service plansWork with Program Administrator and Director of Supportive Services on program buildout at its inceptionLeading staff in health care planning, as appropriate, and care team planningWork to ensure tenant adherence to physical and behavioral health medicationSupport the Tenant Services Director and other program staff's efforts to design independent living skills curriculum and its implementationProvide conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and crisis de-escalation, as need arisesApprove and submit accurate timecards for all direct reportsEstablish and maintain a rotating on call assignment and emergency phone protocolsComplete and submit reports to Program Administrator for review and submission to funding source and Director of Supportive ServicesConduct regular audits of charts and filesInitiate disciplinary action and develop performance improvement plans for staff as needed; conduct annual performance evaluations and assist staff in the creation of goals for improved program implementationIs on call 24 hours a dayseven days a week in case of emergenciesCOMPETENCIESDynamic, able to multi-task, problem solve, and work independently with strong leadership and decision-making abilitiesTeam player and willing to work with a diverse populationAbility to travel and to be on call 247 in case of emergenciesTrained in child development, mandated reporting, and family dynamicsTrained in harm reduction and housing first services approachesExperience with evidence-based practices andor evidence-informed services including, but not limited to:Positive Youth DevelopmentRecovery-Oriented and Trauma-Informed Case ManagementCritical Time InterventionCommitment to RiseBoro's mission of unleashing the potential of communities to thrive, no matter the odds3-5 years of supervisory experienceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSLicensed Master of Social Work, LMSW required - LCSW preferredAt least 3 years of relevant social service experience, particularly in providing clinical and counseling services to young adults and young adult familiesQualificationsIt is the policy of RiseBoro to provide equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment.
