As a Dorothy Comfort Analyst your work at Tegria will focus on supporting the lab operations for the Tegria client as they prepare for their first Epic go-live. You will help share your Epic and healthcare IT knowledge with our customer's full-time team, mentor employees as needed, escalate issues, and generally ensure the success of the project.This person should have experience with Epic implementation work before not just post-live maintenance and issue fixes. Particular experience with larger multihospital health systems will be great relevant experience. Since it is a New York City client, this person should be comfortable and calm dealing with strong personalities.The person should expect up to 50% travel every 3-4 weeks. The role you playClient Engagement DeliveryWorking independently or as part of a healthcare IT project team on a client engagementServing as an Epic liaison between diverse IT and operations groupsUtilizing, reviewing, and creating project tools and templates for healthcare IT or operations focused projectsCreating and maintaining project plans for Epic go-lives, upgrades, or application implementations as applicableEvaluating and documenting current-state processes through discovery and analysisBuilding, testing, training, converting andor deploying new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processesDocumenting measurable outcomes resulting from initiatives through KPI analysis and impact trackingEffectively utilizing communication, decision-making, and escalation pathwaysExecuting effective project wrap-up through outcomes documentation, lessons-learned, and leave-behind materials allowing customers to sustain ongoing operationsMentoring customer counterparts for successful, long-term ownership and growth in their Epic IT or application ternal Tegria CoordinationSubmitting timesheets and expenses at the end of each week without delayCompleting status reports as needed by your client and TegriaFor specific large projects, attending project team check in calls as neededCompleting onboarding requirements in a timely mannerWhen you contract is done, returning your equipment in a timely mannerWhat we're looking forWe expect:3+ years Dorothy Comfort analyst experienceUp-to-date Dorothy Comfort certificationComfortable with working remotely andor traveling to client sitesW2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of TegriaWe'd love to see:Additional Epic Clinical Certification(s)Prior consulting experienceDemonstrated ability in project, risk, or change managementFormal project management certification - either PMP or CSMFormal process improvement certification - ex: Lean Six Sigma or ITILSalary RangeNow, a little about us ...At Tegria, we bring bold ideas and breakthroughs to improve care, technology, revenue, and operations in ways that move healthcare organizations from patient-centered to human-centered.
