Tax Attorney - Renewable Energy Tax Credits

REMOTE ELIGIBLE, NEW YORK OR SAN FRANCISCO PREFERREDOur client, a leader in the energy transition sector, is seeking a self-starting individual with experience in tax credit insurance. This role is integral to the company's mission of promoting rapid adoption of clean technologies by providing innovative insurance solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to execute the company's plans and maintain its leading market position.Responsibilities:Develop and distribute energy transition tax credit insurance products in collaboration with carrier and reinsurance partners.Manage relationships with brokers, project developers, technology developers, investors, and lenders.Evaluate project financing structures for energy transition investments and businesses, ensuring robust risk management and product development.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) and LLM in taxationFive (5) to seven (7) years of experience in tax credits related to the energy transition.Proven expertise in relationship management and the evaluation of financing structures for energy transition clean energy production projects.Strong background in andor understanding of Section 48 (Investment Tax Credit (ITC)) and Section 45 (Production Tax Credit (PTC)) tax credits and forthcoming Clean Electricity Production Credit & Clean Electricity Investment Credit.About Galecki Search Associates:Too many insurance companies waste an incredible amount of time and resources searching for the right hire.
