Reliable transportation is a must.What We Need: We are currently seeking energetic, driven, and team-oriented Medical Assistants who have good communication skills, attention to detail, and who focus on high-quality patient care. The job entails compassionately assisting our patients and supporting our providers in order to serve our patients with both exceptional and efficient medical care. A sense of urgency while maintaining calm and collected is an important attribute.Essential FunctionsMajor Responsibilities: The duties will be performed in accordance with policy and procedure, the standard of care, and in accordance with state certification. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform and assist nursing procedures under the supervision of an AFC providerComplete full triage and vitalsSkill Sets needed at AFC: Triaging, vaccinations, phlebotomyblood draws, drug screens, set up of EKGsKnowledge of procedures and protocols for occupational medicine and physicalsExperience using EMREnsure up-to-date EMR patient records, and provide instructions as directed by the provider Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as requiredProcess messages from patients and front office staff to AFC providers accordingly Maintain clear documentation of all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)Assisting The Medical Front Office Receptionist with duties such as scheduling and checking in patients and completing insurance verification as needed.All other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.Exhibit Company Core Values:Commitment - Commitments are clearly made and metHealth - Healthy living for everyone is promoted through sustainable and responsible behaviorsExcellence - Excellence in everything we doCelebrate - Celebrate wins - both small and largeTrust - Trust builds teamwork through vulnerability and respectSafety & Wellbeing:Alcohol and Drug-Free Policy: We are an alcohol and drug-free workplace.
