The LPN will perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed attending physician, in accordance with the New York Practice Act.ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:Assist in patient assessments, including vitals and medical history collection.Support registered nurses and physicians during breast clinic appointments.Provide health education and counseling to patients.Offer supportive and restorative care to women undergoing breast screenings and treatments.Ensure all patient documentation is up to date and accurate.Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:Graduate of an accredited School of Licensed Practical NursingNew York State License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationPrevious experience in women's health or OBGYN preferredBenefits:Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances)Health Benefits Dental Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
