Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor Location: Edina, MN (This role offers a hybrid schedule role requiring weekly onsite presence in Edina, Minnesota, only local candidates will be considered) Pay Rate: $80,000 -$105,000 annually dependent on applicable experience. Internal Job ID: 10037522 Our client in the Edina area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor with a strong background in management, training, operational strategy, process improvements, and reporting. This supervisor will play a critical role in the team's success, acting as both a hands-on manager and producer, while working with leadership to achieve monthly and quarterly goals. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideal for a proactive professional with purchase order-based AP experience and strong ERP and Excel skills.Responsibilities: Lead and manage an AP team consisting of Specialists, Leads, and Analysts. Oversee high-volume, purchase order-driven AP processing. Maintain GL accounts, journal entries, and daily invoice reviews. Identify and implement new procedures to improve invoicing and AP workflow. Manage month-end close, budgeting, and planning for the AP department. Resolve vendor and staff inquiries, ensuring compliance with AP policies. Mentor, train, and coach AP staff for professional development. Work with leadership and C-level executives on financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives. Oversee 1099 processing, check runs, and vendor payment terms. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5-8 years of experience managing an AP department with 5+ employees. Experience in electronic AP processing and document management systems. Skills: ERP Experience: SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, PeopleSoft, or similar. Excel Proficiency: Intermediate-level (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs). Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing AP teams. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
