Senior Operations Engineer

Job DescriptionCSI Recruiting is working with an exciting, self-funded E&P company in Dallas seeking to hire an experienced Operations Engineer with a background optimizing production from onshore, conventional oil assets, including waterflood properties.The Senior Operations Engineer will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for actively managing the production, costs, cash flow, and capital investment for a regional portfolio of the company's wells. The Senior Operations Engineer will work actively with field personnel to optimize operations and enhance well productivity. The Senior Operations Engineer will manage hisher portfolio of assets and have a broad range of responsibilities including:Develop lease profitability, production, and cost targets.Assist field personnel in achieving production and cost targets.Work with engineering tech to optimize the chemical program and well production testing system.Engineer the optimization of waterflood operations including surface facilities, chemical program, and injection pattern balancing.Collaborate with field personnel, research vendor selection, engineer drilling, and completion operations at the company's ongoing development program, and assist with regulatory filings.Optimize completion designs including acidizing and frac stimulations by providing insight and oversight of outside service vendors.Identify, evaluate, prioritize, and recommend capital investment projects within hisher asset portfolio.Coordinate with company regulatory analyst to obtain drilling, salt water disposal, and other state regulatory filings.RequirementsMinimum RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering4+ years of professional experience working within an active E&P company in an Operations Engineer or Production Engineer role.Strong preference for current experience optimizing production from domestic, onshore conventional oil assetsSuperior work ethic and integrityThis company is a small collection of hard-working, conscientious petroleum professionals.
