The Housekeeper emphasizes the promotion of sanitary conditions to prevent infection and eliminate odors. Duties may include but are not limited to:Performing cleaning and sanitization duties in all client and staff areas; including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming Change bed linens and replace towels in client rooms.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.Ensuring adequate supplies of essential items in various areas of the facility.Physical Demands:Ability to stand and walk continuously Ability to reach above, at, or below waist height continuouslyAbility to reach above, at , or below shoulder height occasionally Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, turn, and twist frequentlyAbility to see well enough to read typewritten materialsAbility to hear well enough to detect noise, discern sounds, and understand speechAbility to discern odorsAbility to frequently lift and carry up to 10lbs., occasionally 20 - 50 lbs. Ability to frequently pushpull wheeled carts weighing from 100 - 200lbs. Ability to manipulate large and small tools frequentlyAbility to work outside in temperatures from 30 degrees F. - 110 degrees F occasionallyRequirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Additional Qualifications:Proficiency in English; bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plusOccasional local travel among company locations.Must fulfill pre-employment conditions: tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, and reference checks.
