DescriptionMini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits' products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Position Summary:The Events Manager is responsible for project planning and management of all aspects of the company's marketing events program, including industry tradeshows, webinars, and Mini-Circuits' annual sales conference, RepTech. Monitors and controls event budgets and prepares periodic management reports.Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 per yearJob Function:EventsPrepare and maintain department calendar of marketing events with related milestones and deadlines.Create comprehensive project plans for each event including business objectives, budget, venue selection, staffing requirements, vendors, logistics, meals & entertainment, audiovisual requirements and creative production.Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders to ensure event production proceeds on scheduleResponsible for managing company inventory of audio-visual equipment and logistics to support demand across the global network of sales and marketing teamsIdentify project risks and marshal support from Director, VP and adjacent teams as needed.Source vendors and freelancers as needed to support project requirements.Ensure prompt processing of vendor invoicing.Conduct surveys and after-action reviews to gauge success relative to state objectives and drive continuous improvement.Monitor and control event budget and prepare expense reporting.Public appearances and speaking may be required at some events.Qualifications:Bachelors in marketing, business, design, event planning or equivalent practical experience.3-5 years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably on a medium-large scale (200+ attendees) or similar field of work.Leadership - Organizes and motivates creative teams. Works across functions to organize people around common goals and objectives.Process optimization - Identifies bottlenecks and inefficiencies and proposes effective solutions to eliminate waste and continuously improve.Exceptional organizational skills - manages multiple complex projects simultaneously.Strong project management, applying the right methodologies and tools to a variety of projects.Effective communication - utilizes various messaging techniques and channels to achieve the desired results with different audiences including internal partners and stakeholders, executive management, external partners and customers.Budgeting - monitors project expenses against allocated budget; ensures prompt processing of payments to vendors and suppliers; provides accurate and timely reporting of expenses for each project.Strong command of MS Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite.
