The Operations Manager will manage the operational aspects of the branch which include manufacturing, safety, equipment and buildings as well as quality and continuous improvement to deliver desired sales and profit targets. The position will require strong communication, delegating and prioritizing skills as well as a consistent drive for performance and growth. Develop and improve the skills, knowledge and abilities of the managers and supervisors to ensure strong succession planningLeads the Plant Operations, Drives Safety Awareness, OpEx, Production, and EfficiencyAssure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customers' expectationsCreate, recommend, and manage capital projectsInitiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capitalImplement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports strategic initiativesWork collaboratively with commercial leaders to insure alignment of initiatives and objectives of the commercial teams and operational capabilities and targets to drive results.Drive continuous process improvement and Lean principles and focus on fact based problem solving to drive process improvement and reduce wasteWork closely with parent location and other locations to ensure coordination and synergiesDrives safe operations.
