This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution while maintaining compliance with multi-state tax regulations, wage laws, and internal policies. This position is based in NYC (Midtown) 3 days a week in office. $100k-$125k + incredible benefits.Job DescriptionOwn and process full-cycle payroll for 450~ employees across multiple states using Workday.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings, wage garnishments, and benefits deductions.Manage payroll audits and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in earnings, deductions, and tax calculations.Partner with HR and Finance to align payroll with benefits, 401(k) contributions, and other compensation-related vestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Stay up to date with payroll legislation, tax laws, and Workday system updates to ensure best practices.Assist with year-end payroll processing, W-2s, and compliance reporting.Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance payroll efficiency.
