Flexcon is passionate about giving employees opportunities for career development and growth which includes dedicating time and resources to training, access to career lattices, career development plans and more!What will you do in this role?Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Diagnose equipment issues and help to resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance activities of machinery and equipment.Perform minor non code requirement piping: air and water. Use hand, power and basic machine tools including, Drill press, saw, and Hydraulic press.Perform welding, brazing, and use acetylene torches. Operate light equipment: forklift, man lifts, tractor, sweeper, & scrubber. Perform basic carpentry as needed. Fabricate parts from drawings.Fabricate parts from drawings. Must be able to use Bridgeport and Lathe for minor machining. Keep all work orders and spare parts updated.Follow all preventative maintenance procedures. Must follow all LOTO proceduresCould be required to come in for a plant emergency or for snow removal.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections using required systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.Perform additional duties as assigned or required.What does it take to be successful in this role?High school diplomaGED or accreditation from a technical school or applicable trades program. 2-4 Years of relevant experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
