Job Type Full-timeDescriptionReports To: Inside Sales ManagerLocation: Onsite role at home offices in Itasca, ILWhat it Takes To Be a Successful Inside Sales Consultant:Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory regionNetwork and keep in constant contact with distributors and occasionally with manufacturers30 outbound calls dailyConvert leads developed from our marketing team and client manufacturers into qualified opportunitiesProactively hunt for new pipeline through email and call campaigns created by the Inside Sales Manager, Strategic Account Managers Partner with your aligned team of outside sales reps (Solutions Consultants) to help grow their current book of business and sales numbers Daily use of LineDrive's CRM, Salesforce, to report results to your manager and to conduct the day-to-day activity needed to be successfulConsistently hit quarterly goals for sales and pipeline growthEducate customers and distributors on the ROI of product through Virtual Strategic Sessions focusing on product knowledge and needs assessmentRemain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments with our partner manufacturers and distributor channelsAttend ongoing webinars and product training sessionsAdditional tasks as neededRequirementsEducation:Associates degree; required, Bachelor's degree; preferredSkills & Competencies:1-2 years customer service andor sales experience ideally in manufacturing or distribution; requiredExperience with business-to-business sales, inside sales, phone and email sales; preferred •Moderate understanding of CRM software, specifically SalesforceExperience with industrial sales distribution; preferred but not requiredProficient using Microsoft Office tools; i.e. Excel, Word and OutlookMust be organizedMust possess high energy and drive with a real desire to build businessDetail oriented with strong organizational skills and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customersFlexible when priorities shiftAbility to match information to situationAbility to follow a sales system where closing is the end resultDecision making abilityExpectations:Behavioral Metrics:Holds oneself accountable to complete tasks without remindersPersistent in building relationships with salespeople both internally and externallyZeroing in on pain points to effectively communicate benefitPerformance Metrics:Average of minimum of 30 phone calls per day over the prior 6 monthsCloses 90% to close per quarter for prior 3 out of 4 quarters75% of end user bundle goal achieved in 3 out of 4 quartersTravel Requirements:Occasional travel for trainings and or business meetings.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobSitting, particularly for sustained periods of timeRegularly required to talk or hearFrequently required to stand, walk, use hands and finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and armsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsWork Environment:This role works in a professional office environment located at the corporate headquarters in Itasca, ILThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesSalary Description $50,000 to $60,000 per year + Commission
