Recognition & Perks: Celebrate your impact with employee rewards, peer nominations, and exclusive discounts.Job Responsibilities: Develop and manage IEPs through the creating and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student with special needs working in a classroom setting.Monitor student progress through tracking and assessing student development, making necessary adjustments to keep them on the path to success. Responsible for managing challenging behaviors and implementing behavior support plans. Work closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and parents to build a supportive, inclusive learning environment. Advocate for students ensuring compliance with educational laws and advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities. Create a positive and engaging learning space where every student feels supported and can thrive. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in special education, education, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid OH Teaching Certification in Special EducationProven experience in developing, implementing, and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and staff. Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. Passion for Special Education, demonstrated by patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
