SummaryThe DX Installer will report to the Service Manager and is responsible for installation of HVAC equipment and refrigeration piping. Incumbent must be able to install systems safely with good craftsmanship and within budgeted man hours. Essential DutiesInstallation of: HVAC equipment; refrigeration equipment; hanging and brazing refrigeration piping; condensate piping; piping insulation and low voltage wiringAs a member of the Service Department, conduct all HVACR jobs in a prompt and professional manner.Conduct HVACR servicing jobs promptly, professionally and efficientlyBasic computer knowledge being able to input information required to execute your daily tasksConducting non-service work in support of the Installation Departments, as assignedPrepare Service Tickets by collecting all required information and signaturesWilling to conduct non-service related support for the Installation Departments, as assignedPerform related duties as directed by the Service Branch ManagerDemonstrate proper use of Safety Equipment at all timesAbility to manage time and workload effectivelyFlexibility to work overtimeweekends, as neededFlexibility to work out of town, as neededNon-Essential DutiesUse self-initiative to remain current with industry trends (engage in webinars, virtual conferences, educational reading, etc.) Accept and perform other work as assignedExperience and EducationMinimum 3 years of related experience in the industry (either, residential service or installation technician) is requiredHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction with two or more years in durationQualifications, Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
