We are looking for a Registered Nurse Auditor (RN) for our Arizona team. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others!Department & Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Arizona team and play a key role in assisting patients through the ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care System) eligibility process. This is a remote position with required travel to the FreedomCare hub in Phoenix, AZ, approximately 2-3 days per quarter.Every Day You Will:Review patients' medical documentation to ensure it aligns with ALTCS requirements for municate with healthcare providers to obtain missing documentation or clarify details that support eligibility.Collaborate with our team to enhance medical and financial screening processes, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency.Provide guidance and insights to the internal team to support patients navigating the ALTCS process.Document findings and ensure all records are properly reviewed, organized, and maintained.Ideal Candidate Will Possess:Licensure: Active Arizona RN license required.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting PAS (Pre-Admission Screening) assessments and reviewing medical documentation for Medicaid-related programs.Experience managing and monitoring PAS caseloads, including scheduling, entering notes, and documenting follow-up actions.Experience interacting with family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to evaluate medical and psychosocial conditions.Experience obtaining and reviewing medical records and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with eligibility requirements.Experience explaining program benefits, eligibility requirements, and patient rights to patients and caregivers.Knowledge: Strong understanding of the medical, functional, and psychosocial needs of elderly and disabled populations.Skills: Ability to effectively prioritize, analyze medical documentation, and collaborate with providers to ensure compliance.Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Organizational and multitasking skills.
