Ellet's is a convivial place for all to gather and celebrate. What is the Job? As a Host, you will be responsible for engaging with and taking care of our guests, greeting them, guiding people through the space, and introducing menus to the table. You will create a welcoming and memorable experience by actively engaging with guest needs and questions. You will be an active communicator with the front of house team, informing managers and relevant servers of allergies, special requests, and service flow. What are the responsibilities? Greeting and seating guestsManaging reservations and maintaining an updated reservation book with dining flow to ensure accurate turn times and wait listsSetting up the restaurant in preparation for and during service Work as a team player, helping your fellow team with guest interactions and duties to contribute to a positive working environment Possess the ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns Able to prioritize multiple tasks and openly communicate with your manager and fellow service team about next steps Consistent adherence to the uniform policy Reports for duty on time and manages one's shift, communicating with the management team when leaving their station for breaks or family meal Our ideal Host...
