POSITION SUMMARY: GNP cooks are responsible for preparing food dishes according to established recipes, keeping fresh food items in rotation, cleaning, and having positive interactions with co-workers. If new to kitchens, we start easy with toppinggeneral assembly and train up from there!Prepare dishes by cooking in ovens, fryers, open flame burners, microwaves, and a variety of kitchen equipment, including a Hobart mixer, large hand mixer, dough ball rounder, and pizza ovenAssume responsibility for the quality of products servedComply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and proceduresStock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion size and recipe specificationsRead tickets and fulfill orders with no less than 99% accuracyHandle, store and rotate all products properlyAssist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as neededPerform related duties such as helping to wash dishes as needed, preparing recycling and cleaning around the kitchenMaintain cleanliness and sanitation at all times; perform open and closing dutiesUphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employeesEDUCATION ANDOR EXPERIENCE:Must be at least 18 years of age to work with certain equipmentESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Ability to standwalk for 8 hours per day.Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Will frequently bend, stand, reach, stoop, lift and carryMust be able to work in both warm and cool environmentsMust be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer trafficMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: eggs, dairy, gluten, and soy
