Pest Control Technician

The Pest Control Technician will manage an assigned territory of residential and commercial; properties providing timely, professional pest control treatments.Duties and Responsibilities:Completes daily assigned work in a timely, efficient mannerProvides high-quality customer service to clientsBuild lasting relationships with clients to maximize route performance and increase densityPrepare truck daily by ensuring proper product selection and quantityDiagnose and make recommendations for a variety of common pest-related issuesPrevent structural pest infestations by using principles of Integrated Pest ManagementOperate all assigned equipment in a safe mannerComplete daily vehicle and equipment inspections; schedule or complete any maintenance as neededNotifies Department Supervisor of required attention to vehicle or equipment if beyond the scope of technician's understandingCompiles with Safety Culture and other rules and regulations Completes all production paperwork timely and accuratelyGenerates leads for new and existing clientsMeets or exceeds daily production goalsMeets or exceeds performance goalsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities:Excellent communication skillsExcellent customer service skillAbility to remain organizedAbility to be self-motivatedAbility to learn, identify, and diagnose pest-related issuesAbility to earn Pesticide Applicators LicenseMust be able to work 40 hours per weekMust be able to work overtime if necessaryRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredPreviously experience in IPM is preferredPesticide Applicators License in CORE and Category 11 is preferredValid Driver's License with no major delinquencies in the past 5 yearsAbility to use CRM programs and other related technologiesAbility to do basic mathPhysical Requirements:Must be able to climb and stand on a ladder or extended periods of timeMust be able to lift at least 50 pounds
