Position SummaryThe Metropolitan Airports Commission is seeking full-time, year-round Carpenters. Responsible for the performance of skilled carpentry in the construction, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures, existing buildings and equipment. Duties include: the repair of furniture, cabinets, shelving doors and their associated hardware. The construction of scaffolding and the ability to shore-up concrete and set concrete forms. The installation of ceiling and floor systems which include suspension, concealed spline, computer, ceramic, vinyl and carpet. Knowledge of Gyro Tech automatic sliding doors. Follow instructions given orally, in the form of sketches or blueprints, or by a computerized maintenance management system. Responsible for supplying a complete set of basic carpenters' tools Hourly RateAs of May 1, 2025: $49.045hourWork Schedule: The carpentry shop typically operates Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime.
