For more information, visit tcg.co.Position Overview:TCG is seeking a highly motivated and capable Summer Investment Analyst to join our investment team for the summer. The Summer Analyst will play an integral role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities within the consumer-focused sectors central to our strategy. This position offers exposure to all aspects of growth equity, including financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Investment Sourcing & Evaluation: Work alongside investment professionals to identify, source, and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the consumer sector. This will involve market research, financial modeling, and competitor analysis.Financial Analysis & Due Diligence: Assist in conducting detailed financial analysis, including valuation models, financial statements, and cash flow projections, to support investment decisions. Participate in the due diligence process, collaborating with senior team members to assess financial, operational, and strategic risks and opportunities.Market Research & Industry Trends: Conduct research on market trends, emerging consumer sectors, and industry dynamics to help identify new investment themes and potential opportunities. Present research findings to the investment team.Capstone Project: Throughout the internship, you will work on a summer-long capstone project focused on a consumer-related theme. This project will allow you to apply your research and analytical skills to develop actionable insights or investment recommendations, with the opportunity to present your findings to the TCG team at the end of the summer.About You:Strong Interest in Consumer-Facing Sectors: A deep interest in understanding the consumer landscape, including evolving trends, consumer behavior, and industry dynamics.Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with a strong academic record, preferably with a focus on finance, economics, business, or related fields. A rising junior is preferred.Relevant Experience: Prior internships or coursework related to finance, consulting, or corporate development is a plus, though not required. A passion for learning and a proactive approach are essential.Analytical Aptitude & Financial Acumen: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel.
