Details Client NameCentral Office Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyPsych Job ID30922302 Job TitleRN - Crisis Intervention (000539) Weekly Pay$2453.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 7x5 - 04PM Scheduled Hours35 Job Order Details Start Date03242025 End Date06302025 Duration14 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Crisis Intervention Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Other - (5) 7-hour shifts per week, 8 pm - 4 am, 5 days a week Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours weekly Experience: Not specified License: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills; courses in mental & behavioral health Job Description: - Engage individuals experiencing homelessness in various locations and conduct medical, mental health, and safety assessments.- Encourage and motivate individuals to seek shelter and services.- Work collaboratively with crisis coordinators and outreach teams to offer services and foster trust and relationships.- Provide services by identifying if there is a reasonable cause to believe an individual requires immediate observation, care, and treatment in a hospital setting.- Conduct street-level mental crisis assessments and evaluate mental health conditions to determine if there is a risk of harm to themselves or others.- Assess individuals to determine if there is any homicidal or violent behavior that places others at risk.- Collaborate on the appropriate mechanism for transporting individuals in crisis to psychiatric emergency programs with law enforcement assistance.- Work with outreach teams on care continuum and discharge planning.- Provide medical attention according to relevant mental hygiene laws.- Initiate processes for the removal and transportation of individuals to designated locations when necessary.- Maintain, update, and document records accurately and in a timely manner.- Confer with hospital staff and clinicians on medical assessments and recommended treatments.- Obtain necessary approvals to operate as part of a mobile crisis outreach team.
