We are a team that loves to win, we are One Winning Team.We are headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, with 2 locations in Minnesota and operations in Mississippi, Chicago, and New York City.GENERAL SUMMARYThe position of Outside Sales Representative will conduct sales calls in the field via face-to-face interaction with potential and existing customers within assigned territory; serves as the face of Garlock East; is responsible for providing the best possible experience to our customers on a daily basis; required to provide hands-on demonstration of products when necessary; and assists with stocking, picking, and packing of products sold. Territory assigned is the state of New Jersey.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTravel within sales territory to meet prospects and customersConduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customersBuild and maintain relationships with new and repeat customersMaintain records of all sales leads andor customer accountsEducate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionallySell the company's products or services to customers within your given territoryMonitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needsMaintain truck and other equipment in clean functional conditionAttend tradeshows and industry events as neededLoading and unloading of equipment from truck and trailerCommunicate with customers via phone and emailEnter orders in ERP systemPerform other duties as assignedAdhere to the Company Safety policies.Adhere to the Company CARE Initiative: Commit, Accountability, Responsiveness, EffortAdhere to the Company Core Values: Impress The Customer, Performance Driven, Quality In All We Do, Act With Integrity And Professionalism, Collaborative Continuous Improvement, and Be Safe.A background and drug screening will be conducted for employment purposes.
