Project Engineers work with Project Management teams and provide support for the entire life-cycle of a construction project. Project Engineers must demonstrate knowledge in construction practices and provide coordination and administrative support to their assigned project teams. Responsibilities:Complete new project updates in Procore, distribute initial drawings and plans to all required team members, assist Project Manager with insurance and permits as needed, send Superintendent Field team toolkitsSchedule calls and meetings with internal and external project team members to ensure consistent communication flow throughout the duration of a projectSupport administrative responsibilities for each assigned job: process RFIs, submittals, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change ordersAssist Project Managers with buyout processCreate and distribute weekly reports as requested by client and leadershipAssist in preparation of closeout package process: collect documentation from subcontractors, vendors, architects, clients, and members of the internal project teamOther job responsibilities as assignedOccasional travel to project site as neededQualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil EngineeringAt least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in constructionMust be able to understand and interpret blueprints and other construction drawingsExcellent MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills requiredMS Project, Procore, and TimberlineSage experience preferredAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage their time well on tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalismStrong presentation skillsTeam-player and ability to build relationships well across the organization and teamIn compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Schimenti's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and specific performance awards. In addition, Schimenti provides a variety of comprehensive benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
