The successful candidate will provide key financial insights, help drive business decisions and ensure the smooth financial operation of the company.RequirementsJOB RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIESFinancial Management & Reporting: Accurately record, report, and analyze financial data across various business units Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business growth Accounting & Compliance: Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Prepare and file taxes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle all insurance policies related to properties and business operations Operations & Payroll: Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance Collect and manage receivables Prepare, review, and process invoices, ensuring timely payments Manage vendor and client payouts Business Intelligence & Data Analysis: Analyze financial performance data, including payroll, mileage, laundry, and rental income Deliver insights that impact decision-making and operational efficiency Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and business opportunities Training & Development: Provide training and develop resources for staff on financial processes and best practices Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes REQUIREMENTSExperience: 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance Mastery of QuickBooks, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications is a must! Knowledge of Google Docs is a plus Experience with business intelligence and financial reporting tools is a plus Real Estate experience is a plus Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced team environment Highly adaptable and proactive in identifying and resolving financial challenges Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA, CFA, or CISA certification preferred but not required ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Candidate must reside within 30-45 minutes of Zip code 19038 The candidate is required to work on-site at our Wyndmoor, PA. office This is a full-time Position COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary between 60k-80k, based on experience and qualifications 3 weeks PTO and the bank holidays Opportunity for career growth in a fast-expanding real estate business Collaborative and supportive work environment with a mission-driven team Flexible and dynamic work environment with exposure to multiple business areas WHY JOIN US?We are more than just a real estate company, we are a team that values growth, service, and making a meaningful impact in our community.
