This role ensures the garage and surrounding areas are well-kept, assists with minor maintenance tasks, and provides customer support as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in various weather conditions.Duties and Responsibilities:Facility Maintenance: Keep parking areas, stairwells, and elevators clean by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and performing general upkeep.Safety & Security: Demonstrate accountability by following instructions and taking responsibility for tasks while maintaining commitment to work schedules to ensure the timely completion of duties. Observe safety and security procedures, take appropriate action when necessary, and report any unsafe conditions. Additionally, properly use and maintain all equipment and materials to ensure efficiency and workplace safety.Customer Assistance: Handle difficult or emotional guest situations with professionalism, ensuring prompt problem resolution while demonstrating responsiveness to customer needs and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Effectively balance individual responsibilities while contributing to a positive team environment, supporting team members, and recognizing their accomplishments.Equipment & Signage Maintenance: Ensure parking signs, pay stations, and other facility equipment are clean, functional, and properly cident Reporting: Document and report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or suspicious activity to management.Weather Preparedness: Help maintain safe walking and driving conditions by addressing snow, ice, or water accumulation in parking areas.Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support garage operations.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Employees are responsible for ensuring their devices are functional and accessible during work hours. Any reimbursement for work-related phone usage will be in accordance with company policy.EducationExperience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Customer service experience preferred; customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory.Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work occurs in or around parking facilities and hotel properties, which may require standing or walking for extended periods. Exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions is common. Requirements may include extended periods of standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary.
