Company Overview & Job Description:Summit Golf Brands is the company behind the design and sales of Fairway & Greene, Zero Restriction, B. Draddy, and EP NY. Our headquarters are in the heart of Manhattan on 5th Avenue just a block from Bryant Park.As the Accessories and Special Projects Sourcing Manager, this person is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to procure high-quality accessories like bags, belts, hats, etc. Ensuring they meet design specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines while optimizing cost and aligning with the brand's aesthetic and market trends; collaborating closely with the design, product development, and merchandising teams to source accessories that complement the apparel collection.Reports to: SVP Production and SourcingRole Requirements:• Supplier Identification and Development:o Research and identify potential new accessory suppliers globally, considering factors like quality, price, production capabilities.o Establish and manage relationships with key accessory and specialty item suppliers. Collaborate with SVP of ProductionSourcing to set target pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.o Collaborate with SVP of ProductionSourcing and Team members to incorporate factory audits, assess production capacity, quality control processes, and compliance with Industry standards.• Product Development and Sourcing:o Collaborate with design teams to translate accessory concepts into production-ready specifications, including materials, construction details, and finishes.o Develop and manage accessory sourcing strategies to ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk production. Collaborate with SVP of ProductionSourcing to align with existing strategies.o Source raw materials and components like leather, hardware, fabric, and trims based on design requirements and cost considerations.•Quality Control and Inspection:o Establish and implement quality control procedures for accessories, including pre-production, in-line, and final inspection processes.o Monitor quality standards and address any issues identified during inspections with suppliers to maintain product integrity.•Cost Management and Negotiation:o Analyze cost breakdowns from suppliers and negotiate prices to achieve optimal cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.o Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier optimization, material selection, and production process improvements.•Research and Trend Analysis:o Stay informed about emerging trends in the accessory market to identify potential new product opportunities.
