Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Head Women's Soccer Coach. The Head Coach is a full-time professional staff person that provides leadership for particular athletic program(s) reporting to the Director of Athletics. Heshe is responsible for developing and leading a highly competitive and formational program. Heshe contributes to the health and vitality of the athletics department through strong collaboration with colleagues across campus and through positive participation in departmental projects, tasks, andor operations. We seek to cultivate an environment in which students flourish as they encounter the Triune God with their whole lives and discover the joy of their vocation.The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Related to the particular athletic program(s):Develop a program that consistently competes at a high level (including but not limited to win-loss record, conference leadership, post-season competition, sportsmanship, etc.)Develop a program that consistently fosters student-athletes spiritual, professional, and leadership identitiesDevelop a program of student-athletes that are positively engaged academically and communally (i.e. campus involvement andor leadership, academic achievements, local community involvement, etc)Establish and communicate programseason objectives and goalsDevelop and implement practice and training schedulesHire, train, and supervise an assistant coaching staffMaintain equipment and playing surface conditions ensuring their readiness for competitionManage allotted program budget(s)Develop and highlight an annual Champions of Character initiativeEnsure compliance with relevant sport or affiliation bylaws and standards (CCAC, NAIA, and NCCAA)Related to recruiting:Develop a program roster that reflects Trinity's desired student populationMeet roster range goalsManage approved discount rate and ensure compliance with the athletic scholarship policyWork collaboratively with admission and financial aid colleagues to effectively move prospective student-athletes through enrollment and financial aid processesRelated to community:Develop exceptional working relationships with colleagues across campusCreate and implement sport camp opportunitiesCollaborate and cooperate with Athletic Communications and Athletic Training departmentsDevelop events or initiatives to engage program alumsRelated to administration and operations:Work effectively within established systemsMaintain CPR and First AID certificationManage and plan for program equipment, supplies, needs, etc.Participate in or lead tasksprojects as requestedassigned by the AVPRelated to leadership:Represent Trinity, the athletics department, andor the AVP through participation in meetingsevents, committeestask forces, etc.Engage with and provide service to regional andor national associationsRegularly identify and participate in professionalcoaching development opportunitiesA completed bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred.
