Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist! ?Location: Beltsville, MDPay: Starting at $28 per hourShift: 2nd Shift, 2PM - 11PM, Off every other FridayAbout Us:Our client is a leader in precision manufacturing, and theyre looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their team. If you have a passion for machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!Role Overview:As a CNC Machinist, you will:Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines such as lathes and mills, along with manual shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and terpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.Determine sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup.Use a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments.Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.Fit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment and determine material, parts, and equipment required.Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Basic Qualifications:Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.Experience with CNC machines, including lathes and mills.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.Strong understanding of machining processes and precision measuring instruments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with 4th5th axis CNC machines.Why Join Us?Competitive pay ranging $28-$40.00hourOpportunity to work on innovative and precision-driven projectsCollaborative and supportive work environmentHow to Apply:If youre interested, please email your resume to [email protected] EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
