and to be at work on timeQualificationsEssential Characteristics:Self-directed ability to work well with little or no supervisionOrganized, detail oriented; recognizes errors quicklySense of urgencyPositive attitude and professional demeanorGuest focused and solution-drivenPersuasive skillsMulti-taskerTeam orientedCommunicator clear written and oral skillsSafety conscious follows all safety and sanitation policiesProfessional image - neat, clean, pressedDependable consistently works agreed upon schedule and gets to work on timeCommitted to Razzoos 6-2-101 (Philosophies and Values)Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Deliver Hospitality to every guestSuggest fooddrink itemsKnow liquor brands, basic liquor drinks and Razzoos specialty drinksCollect payment for all purchases following appropriate Company proceduresConduct age verification for alcohol service following ABC requirements and Company procedures at all timesReconcile cash drawer and daily sales receipts at end of shiftManage guest liquor consumption effectively and in accordance with ABC requirements and Razzoos Liquor Service AgreementMaintain ongoing cleanliness of glasses, utensils, bar equipment, bar tops, work areas and tablesFill drink orders directly from guests and from service well printerDefer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on DutyServe liquor, beer and wine directly to guestsPrepare drinks in accordance with Razzos drink recipes and proceduresExpedite and garnish food orders as necessaryServe food items to guests seated in the bar areaSlice and pit fruit for garnishing drinksArrange bottles and glasses to maintain attractive displays and liquor cagesPlan, organize and control the operations of the barStock liquor appropriately when liquor orders arriveEmpty trash cans using appropriate safety and sanitation measuresAlert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in themWash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prepMaintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in managementComply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Razzoos policies and proceduresPerform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any timePhysical Demands:Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items (ice, plates, trash, etc.) up to 40 lbs., and 40+ lbs. with assistanceMove about the dining and kitchen areas quickly and carefullyStandwalk during entire shiftEnter and exit kitchen with full handsClimb ladder when reaching for items that are on upper shelvesAbility to hear with accuracy over loud background noise2020 Near Vision, with correction the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)Manual Dexterity the ability to quickly move hand, hand and arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objectsWorking Conditions:Fast-paced environmentNarrow spaces behind bar, between dining tables and in kitchen areaSeveral guests and co-workers moving about at same timeSeveral guests or tasks to attend to at one timeBackground noise, i.e., guests and employees speaking simultaneously, equipment noise and background musicExposure to hot (kitchen) and cold (walk-ins) temperatures
