Assistant Facility Manager - Seasonal

PART-TIMEHOURLY TEAM MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR RAISE AFTER EVERY 60 SHIFTS COMPENSATION $21.00-$24.00hour Seasonalpart-time, hourly SUMMARY As an Assistant Facility Manager, you will help organize, schedule, and provide direct daily support to the Aquatic Center. In this role, you will assist the Aquatic Facility Manager in ensuring that team members can effectively prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies, as well as effectively enforce facility policies with a focus on stellar customer service. You will be a senior point of contact in escalated situations and will be responsible for reporting to the Aquatic Facility Manager with operations updates in their absence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Aquatic Facility Manager by set deadlines Maintain a prompt and reliable line of communication with the Aquatic Facility ManagerConsult with the Aquatic Facility Manager and request approval for anything that may majorly impact the facility, the facility's operations, or relations with the facility's contractors Assist in managing scheduling for the facilityPartner with Director of Field Operations to ensure consistency of region In-Service program Serve as the point of contactescalation for all team members in the absence of the Aquatic Facility Manager Assist in managing day-to-day operations of facilityAssist in managing and ensure consistency of employee disciplinary process, including timely resolution and documentation Submit monthly expense reports as required Assist in updating Premier Aquatics Employee and Manager Portals with operating information Assist in the facilitation of Employee Orientation on a substitute or as-needed basis Expectations as outlined may differ according to the seasonal needs of the business (peak seasonoff season) Perform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Minimum High school Diploma or equivalent required Work a minimum of 1 day a week and have 1 day of weekend availability Must possess (or be able to obtain within first ninety days of employment) required certifications through StarGuard Elite (lifeguard training, CPR, AED, and first aid), including Lifeguard Instructor Certification Preferred Possess or in the process of receiving a bachelor's degree or equivalent Three to five years relevant experience in the Lifeguard Services industry preferred Have a current StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor certification Physical Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50 pounds Must be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the water Exposed to prolonged periods of being outdoorsOur company is an at-will employer.
