Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (100 beds), and beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility in Oceanside, NY area that is looking for an experienced and dynamic RN Supervisor to join their team. The shift is 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. They will be responsible for maintaining and scheduling staff, overseeing quality patient care, ensuring adherence to established policiesprocedures, and monitoring staff activities. Competitive salary, good benefits plan, and other perks (Employee Recognition and more) are offered.Responsibilities:•Assist the Director of Nursing and Associate Director of Nursing in planning, directing, and evaluating the second shift Nursing Department.•Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff is available for the shift to ensure that quality care is maintained•Participate in DOH surveys (inspections) if required•Ensure that DOH regulations and compliance standards are met•Participate in developing, implementing, and updating the care plan (and discharge plans) for each resident•Ensure that employee and company policies and procedures are followed•Mentor, advise and teach less experienced nurses, offering clinical advice•Address questions andor complaints brought forward by patients andor their families.•Requirements:•BSN degree - preferred but not mandatory•Active NY RN license•At least 2 years of experience within an LTC Skilled Nursing Facility (a must!)•At least 2 years of Supervisory experience•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills•Ability to collaborate and lead a team#IND123
