Our Accounting Clerk position(Burbank, CA) is responsible for performing essential accounting and full-cycle accounts payable functions for the Bank, Holding Company, and other subsidiary of the Holding Company including the preparation, maintenance, reconciliation, and verification of financial records and related work as required.What Will Be Your Key Accountabilities?Responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, including inputting of invoices and employee reimbursements into Prologue AP system, processing weekly check runACH payments, processing of refunds, and processing of stop payments.Responsible for vendor information setup and maintenance in Prologue AP system.Respond to vendor and employee reimbursement inquiries.Process the annual IRS tax form 1099-Miscellaneous filings.Assist with the fixed asset system and prepaid accounting system inputs and reconciliations.Perform ad-hoc reports, intercompany billing reconciliation, GL reconciliations, and accounts payable related activity.Assist or prepare various reconciliations including correspondent bank accounts, loans, deposits, etc.Prepare and process various month end accruals.Embrace MVB's core values ACCEPT, show respect for cultural differences; promote working environment free of harassment of any type; support a diverse workforce and affirmative action.Maintain up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, policies and procedures.What Are We All Doing?Embrace MVB's core values ACCEPT, show respect for cultural differences; promote working environment free of harassment of any type.Support a diverse workforce and affirmative action.Maintain up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, policies and procedures.Bring any suspicious activity to the attention of a supervisor, or the BSA Officer.Follow all Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.Understand and adhere to regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FCRA, BSA, GLBA, etc. as the regulations pertain to the employee's job function.What Do You Bring to the Team?A list of job experiences and qualification requirements are great, but what is most important to us is humility, vulnerability, transparency, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach. Additionally, you will bring:A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree (A.A.) in AccountingFinance preferred or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable function.
