This role is responsible for the banquet service functions for Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The Banquet Captain will supervise team members and collaborate the culinary team as a liaison for execution of events. The ideal candidate is able to meet these objectives by effectively partnering with team members and other hotel departments to deliver the highest quality product and service.Key responsibilities of the Banquet Captain include:Assists with training, supervising, scheduling of banquet service staffUnderstand and be familiar with responsibilities of all banquet positions and be able to execute eachHandle all guest concerns efficiently and to the satisfaction of the guestsEnsures proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tablesMaintains constant communication with guests and on-site contact to ensure all expectations are met or exceeded and visually inspect all areas of banquets are up to standardsReviews scheduling and BEO specifications to create exceptional eventsCommunicates with clients to support event needs and on-site requestsSupervises clearing and post function cleaning and closing dutiesCoordinates with other staff and departments to arrange for the delivery of requested servicesCandidate must have one year of banquets service experience in hotel or country club environment.Hilton Charlotte Uptown is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
